Zumba Class During LDS Priesthood Session

Everyone!  I have missed you all so much!  Graduate school is amazing and I have been learning so much.  But I'm in such a need to teach a Zumba class!  So Karen and I are teaming up to host a GNO (Girl's Night Out) Zumba class during the Priesthood session of LDS General Conference.

Saturday, October 6th at 6PM
My Smart World Preschool
40 South 100 East
Lindon, UT 84042

Greatest things about this location:  There is a playground that is connected to the dance room so the kids can come and play outside while we dance.  Don't worry, it's totally enclosed and safe. (note, any kids who want to participate in class can in the back and only if they've paid for a ticket).  Another great thing is that this dance room is big and has nice mirrors, and even a drinking fountain in the room!

Buy your tickets online for easy convenience.  Tickets will also be sold at the door.

If you bought a pass this summer, you can use that too, just shoot me an e-mail if you want to use it.  Please note that I can't allow more than one person per pass for this event.  Here's a list of those of you who have valid passes.  If your name isn't here it means it was expired when I stopped teaching at Sweets.

Chelsey K.
Jackie Cl.
Paige
Rachel Sea.
Danita
Debbie L.
E. Ruiz
Ginny
Marsha M.
Jackie Cr.
Shaun H.
Loretta D.

I really hope I see you there!  Share it with everyone and invite as many friends as possible.  Buy online by clicking on this link.  Tickets are non-refundable but they can be transferred.

Running!

The weather is beginning to warm up. If running/jogging is something you're considering doing, here's my "3-S's" advice before you get started:

Support: Be sure you are wearing the right bra so you have the best support. If you're not supported, your back will ache and you'll likely give up sooner than you would if you had the proper support. (If you're an unlucky 'well endowed' woman like myself, I recommend Enell Sports Bras).

Shoes: Invest in a good pair of running shoes. Go to the running store and get measured for the best fit. Generally, you're going to pay more for a good pair of running shoes.

Safety: Please do not run alone in the dark or in secluded places. Don't believe that "it won't happen to me". Find a running buddy, try to run when there is still light outside, or stay on well-lit busy main streets. If you must listen to music in your earphones, please don't play it loudly or better yet, just use one earphone and leave the other out. Wear reflectors when it's darker and be sure that your spouse or someone knows exactly where you're planning to run-just in case.

Running is my first passion... even falls before Zumba believe it or not. I love it. Running allows me to clear my mind of things/stress/etc. It's me and the pavement. I go on long runs on Saturday mornings in the Provo/Orem area so if you're ever interested in joining me, let me know! Would love the company. And I'm not interested in speed-rather enjoying the weather, company, and nature. :)
